About Dave and Stella

Dave and Stella Bishop live in the Pacific Northwest with our old dog Belka, and our two cats Penny and Missy.  Dave is a Technical Writer and Stella is an Office Manager.  Sailing around the Salish Sea in our MacGregor 26M “Southern Star” is our passion.  As of 2014, Southern Star is berthed at the Cap Sante Marina in Anacortes, Washington, just a stone’s throw away from the San Juan Islands.  Our goal is to explore all of the Northwest coast, maybe even venturing as far north as Alaska’s panhandle someday. When we want to get a bit further afield, we love visiting Jamaica with our best friends.

hey are you loving Rosario???? hi from Grace and Peter

    • It’s very nice, but it got much cooler than the days at Roche. We’ll want to come back in the summer when more of it is open. Much is closed for the season.

It was great seeing you guys again. Let us know the next time you’re in our neck of the woods.

Great meeting you in roche Harbor. You captured its essence with your blog–our favorite spot (almost) on earth. We hope to share another glass of wine with you on a future cruise–and perhaps a (real)seastory or two.

Hi! Looks like we missed you last weekend. We were only on our boat on Sat. Let us know when you plan to be up there again and let’s try to meet up!

    • Actually, we’ll be back up there tomorrow (Friday) to leave on a 3-4 day excursion in the San Juans. Hopefully we’ll see you soon.
